Association between Tissue Polypeptide Specific Antigen and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Colorectal Cancer Patients and their Relation with P53 Expression and Global DNA Methylation

سرطان القولون والمستقيم (CRC) هو مرض شديد الخطورة يتسبب في مشاكل طبية سريعة التطور وله معدل وفيات مرتفع. يمكن تصنيف مُسْتَضِدٌّ مُنَاوِعٌ للنَّسيج (TPS) كمؤشر حيوي في سرطان القولون والمستقيم وأنواع أخرى من السرطانات. لوحظ ان لعامل نمو بطانة الأوعية الدموية (VEGF) دور علاجي في تكوين أوعية دموية جديدة. قد تساهم مثيلة الحمض النووي بتقليل انتشار السرطان. كانت هذه الدراسة مصممة لقياس الدور المحتمل لمستويات TPS و VGEF في تقدم CRC بالإضافة إلى علاقتها بتعبير P53 و مثيلة الحمض النووي (5mC) وايضا الحالة البيولوجية لمرضى CRC مثل مرحلة المرض ودرجة تطور المرض وعمق غزو النسيج. شملت الدراسة الحالية 30 متطوعًا سليما كمجموعة سيطرة و 60 مريضًا مصابًا بـ CRC. تم فحص جميع المشاركين لمستويات TPS و VGEF في المصل باستخدام اختبار ELISA. أيضًا ، تم استخراج الحمض النووي والحمض النووي الريبي وتم تقييم مستويات تعبير (5mC) و P53. كانت هناك اختلافات كبيرة في مستويات المصل لكل من TPS و VGEF بين مرضى CRC والسيطرة. فيما يتعلق بالسمات الديموغرافية للمرضى كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالات إحصائية في مستويات المصل لكل منTPS ، VGEF. . لم تكشف الدراسة عن وجود ارتباط معنوي بين مستويات التعبير الجيني لجين ال P53 ، مثيلة الحمض النووي , وكذلك TPS و VGEF في مجاميع الدراسة. قد تلعب مستويات TPS و VGEF في مصل المرضى دورًا مهمًا في تطوير CRC. يعتبر مستوى VGEF مفيدًا في التمييز بين CRC ومجموعة السيطرة ، في حين أن مستوى TPS هو عامل تنبؤي لاستمرار مرض CRC.
