Withdrawal Policy

Journal of the Faculty of Medicine Baghdad has a withdrawal policy in place to ensure that authors can withdraw their manuscripts at any stage of the publication process. This policy aims to provide a transparent and fair process for authors who wish to withdraw their work.

Here are some key points about withdrawal policies:

Reason for Withdrawal:

Manuscripts may be withdrawn for a variety of reasons, including changes in authorship, ethical issues, or conflicts of interest. If an author wishes to retract a manuscript, please contact the editorial team as soon as possible.

Withdrawal Process:

Authors must submit a written retraction request. The request should include the title of the manuscript, the name of the corresponding author, and the reason for the retraction as shown in the (Withdrawal Request Form).

Withdrawal Fees:

Journal of the Faculty of Medicine Baghdad charges no fee for withdrawing a manuscript.

Publication Fees:

If the manuscript has been accepted for publication, the author may be required to pay a publication fee or cancellation fee, depending on the stage of the publication process. Specific fees are specified in the author agreement.

Refund:

If authors have paid publication fees, they may be entitled to a partial or full refund, depending on the stage of the publication process.

Publication Status:

If a manuscript has been published online or in print, it cannot be withdrawn. Authors are encouraged to contact the Editorial Board to discuss any questions regarding the published article.
