Self-Archiving Policy

This policy sets out the ways in which the authors of the Journal of the Faculty of Medicine Baghdad can place a version of their research article in an online repository and/or website. The submitted version of the article can be self-archived immediately after publication and the journal would encourage the authors to share their work in the authors’ personal website, the author's company/institutional repository. It is important to provide a link back to the article on the J Fac Med Baghdad site.

The published article is made freely and permanently available online. All the published articles are open access and have a user license attached. The author retains the right to use their article for a wide range of purposes and it requires no fee from the author (please see the Open Access Information and Policy). Self-archiving of the submitted article is not subject to an embargo period.
